6mm GT

Post by BunduRic »

Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone here shoots 6GT and what is your opinion on the calibre?

I have multiple calibres, so this is really just an itch I want to scratch.

Looking at the Masterpiece Arms in 6GT.

ChrisJan Built a friend of mine a mean 6GT.
Kelbly Atlas Tactical Action
1-7.5 Twist MTU Bartlein I think 26"
Trigger Tech Diamond
I think he went with a Aero Precision Solus Chassis.
Shoots 109 Bergers into 1hole @ 100 and 0.5Moa 10shot Ladders at 200m.
Think he's about 2750fps.

I recently ordered one (a barreled action in 6GT) from Ralph Badenhorst.

Was considering the 6 Dasher, but likes something different and want to shoot 109gr bullets.

Only heard great things about it.

Well I decided to take the plunge, so hopefully in about 3-4 months there will be some further feedback.

I was considering the dasher but then after a view YT videos and more research decided on the 6GT.

I do not think you will be dissapointed but what made you decide to go with the GT instead of the Dasher or even BR?

So the main reason is that the Dasher seems to be finicky with mag feeding, BR is cool, but I thought having a 22 Creedmoor lets do something that not everyone shoots, and then went 6GT :)
