Tumbling Dillon press parts?

I just received the used Dillon XL650 press today and have started stripping it to do a full clean and assemble. Anyone chucked a tool head or other cast parts into a wet tumbler before? I was thinking about doing one big part at a time and then 2-3 smaller parts together until I’ve worked through all the “silver” cast parts. Hopefully it will come out looking like new. Or should I dry tumble?

What I can tell you is don't use your normal brass cleaning mix on steel or iron parts. It tends to darken, and almost etch them. I once accidentally tumbled a case holder. It came out pitch black.
