I was using lot 83 and wil be using lot 89 for sometime as i have sufficient stock.

You will have a 100% fill case just to reach node 5, and your powder burn percentage is low.
You will be shooting flames and unburned powder at the muzzle end.

168AMAX tpl 76mm 63.5gr S365 LOT 89 puts me on these numbers .Where's the next node please?

I dont think the animal is going to know the difference when you hit it in the head with a 168 grain A max, whether its at 3130 fps or at 2940 fps.

Just returned from a successful springbok cull with the 300wsm the head shots under 200m are gruesome and if you hit a vertebrae were the nek joins the head the damage is substantial. The recoil also prevents you from seeing your hits or misses . I also tried the 168 amax at long range on "blesbok" and here the bullet performed well at 610m penetrating the broadside animal with caliber size entry and 3x caliber size exit wound. I shot three animals and the performance was the same hitting just behind the shoulder with little meat damage .

These long range shots were only undertaken after I was able to hit somchem powder tins filled with water at 450m five out of six times at the prevailing altitude and atmospheric conditions.
