Nice 2 shot group but i can do that with my off the shelf CZ.
A five shot group will tell a diferent story... And justify my thought of spending extra moela on a specialist target rifle.

Dis mooi tweeling skiet volgende keer 5 skote en nie 2 nie.

Iets wat ek al oor die paar jaar geleer het vandat ek die jag ding doen is dat die bok net een skoot kort om te val,nog nooit was ek so bevoorreg om te kon groeppeer op 'n bok nie.

Ek het nie verder met NC gepraat nie.
Mense deur die forum ontmoed wat uit hul pad uit gaan om my te help.
Weet nog nie presies wat het fout gegaan met my geweer se loop nie.
Nuwe loop word bestel uit Italie.

Baie dankie aan die " Samaritane" wat my gehelp het.

Ek wil graag vir Rapala VMC Suid Africa bedank vir hul uitstekende diens met my Sabatti 308.
Rapala het die agentskap gekry nadat ek my geweer gekoop het.

Alhoewel die geweer nie deur julle ingebring is na SA nie, het jul uit jul pad gegaan om my te help.

Ek het vandag my geweer terug gekry nadat Lance Stevens van SPR(Stevens Precision Rifles) hom vir my uitgesort het. Ek se weer Baie Dankie.
SPR lewer die diens aan Rapala om die probleme wat da is uit te sorteer, hy het ook gehelp met produk verbetering vir ons Suid Afrikaanse toestande.

Ek was so bietjie laat vanaand. Scope vinnig ingestel en die groep geskiet.
Die foto is van 4 skote op 100m.
Bietjie duimsuig patrone, 40.3gr gelaai met 168CC vir n moontlike 2500 v/s
Die oomblik was te groot. Was so bly oor die groepering dat ek nie no 5 wou skiet nie

Ek sal Saterdag tyd spandeer aan lading ontwikkeling en die resultate deurgee.

Ek koop enige dag weer n Sabatti.

Lekker aand.

Sabatti is a new Brand for us, and as with all the Brands we represent, we endeavour to support our products to the fullest extent of our ability.

We, at Rapala VMC are all passionate, actively participating, "Gun Nuts" and as such we want to share our passion. If an end consumer experiences a product related problem, we put ourselves in their shoes, asking ourselves, how would I feel, how would I like to be treated and how can my disappointment be mended?

Lance Stevens of Stevens Precision Rifles, who requires no introduction, has also offered considerable technical input into the new series of Sabatti Tactical Rifles. He has been appointed as our go to "Expert in his field" regarding any problems that may surface.

We are currently expecting our first shipment of Sabatti Tactical Rifles, the likes of which, have never been seen before.
We researched the local market, spoke with sport shooters, consulted with Gunsmiths and Gun builders for their input.
All this considerable input has been needed, the Sabatti Factory visited, suggestion's regarding Manufacturing processes have been made and implemented.

This new series of Sabatti Tactical Rifles has been built to our stringent specifications and will be completely different Rifles.

Barrel material has been changed to 416R Stainless Steel. (stainless and Cerakoted (Black) stainless options)
All Tactical rifle barrels will retain the MMR as this works, more FPS without pressure issues, less fouling and longer barrel life.
28 Inch barrels (For use with Somchem's Powders) understanding that you can always shorten the barrel, should you so choose.
Barrel profile of 28mm at the knox. 75mm from Knox to taper, ending in an OD of either 22 or 24 mm
Twist rates to accommodate the requests of shooters, for example, 1/8 in 22-250 etc
11 degree competition crown
Match trigger, two stage (the 1st stage can be set out for those who prefer a single stage trigger)
20 MOA Picatinny Rail as standard
Laminate and synthetic (Two Tone) stock option
Anschutz Rail, 250mm long
Factory Bedded Action
Bag Rider ready
2 way adjustable Butt plate ready
Adjustable Cheek Piece, with Wizz Wheel, including Ambidextrous lock out screws

The idea behind these Rifles, is that you slap on a scope, shoot your gun in and there you go, no need to add or do anything.

Emanuele Sabatti, informs us that they recently shot a 300m, 3 shot group of half an inch with their 7mm RSAUM ! ! !

I'm taking a 6.5x47L for myself. Cant Wait !

Haha... ek kan nogals dink dat manne wat nooit n goeie woord oor Sabatti te se gehad het of nooit aan ene sou/wou 'vat' nie staar ewe skielik hard na wat hierso aan die kom is. Never say never boys .. hier kom sports - die goeie soort. Oja Arnold... dis nie op jou gemik nie tjom

Met manne soos Mark / Cuan en Lance sal hulle eers happy wees wanneer jy is... dis bewys deur kliente te help waar die koop nog by ou agente gedoen was. Selfs lope uit te ruil as dit nodig is..wie anders gaan dit vir jou doen? Glo dis n safe bet.. wat egter lekker sou wees is dat hulle reguit van hul ma so goed kon skiet en vry van enige onnodige foute sou wees. Kom ons sien

Good Question.

Calibers, Barrel lengths and twist rates as in my post above.

Please bear in mind that although roughly similar in appearance, this is a very different Rifle, made from a completely different steel, made on new machinery with different manufacturing techniques, to higher specifications and quality control.
An all new stock design, bedded with additional features.
Having a Rifle or anything for that matter, built to your specifications, requires increased MOQ's
The Rand is weaker since the last Sabatti's hit our shores, and we all know what that means.

I cannot comment regarding retail prices, as we are Distributors to the Trade only.
Please don't hold me to this, as the Rifles haven't even shipped yet and I have Zero control over the Dealers mark up and subsequent GP's, but I expect the Tacticals to Retail for under 32K. Again, please don't hold me to this as there are way too many variables influencing price between shipping and the Retail price when they hit the shelves.

4 x things I can assure you:
1. We will do our very best to offer the very best deal we possibly can, so that your favourite Gun Shop may still stay in business, feed and school his kids, whilst passing on the best deal he can to you, the end consumer.
2. We will not jeopardise our relationship with dealers by selling direct to the public.
3. We will do our utmost best to support and maintain our brands and their/our integrity
4. Although We will only "trade" with dealers, we have an open door policy regarding end and potential end consumers. I am happy to answer any questions/concerns, via call or email and even invite any potential consumers to visit our facility. My door is always open and my cell is always on. Ek skiet 2 Sabatti's en ek het ook probleme met 1 gehad tot ek die manne van VMC Rapla my gehelp het net n woord van dank aan Cuan en Lance dit wat julle vir my gedoen het was werklike onbaatsutige diens iets wat die vorige invoerder van Sabatti kan kom leer by julle waar ek was en nou is is net te danke aan julle proffisonele diens.Ek kan retig aanbeveel as daar manne is wat sukkel met hulle Sabatti's praat met die manne van VMC Rapala ,ook kan ek nie wag vir die nuwe Sabbati's nie die nuwe 222-50 gaan kook as ek hulle so kyk .

Ek het maandag by my plaaslike geweer winkel een van die Sabatti 22250 1-8 twist gewere bestel, nou is dit net wag vir die lisensie .Ek het nou net my Tikkas oorreed om die kluis met n Samurai te deel nou is dit weer n Italianer.
Is hier nog iemand wat al van die gewere gekoop het?
