Not sure if this is in the right place..
Looking at getting the Z3 3-10 x 42 to mount on a 375H&H for general hunting and at a later stage maybe on a 416 Rem Mag. Do you think the scope will handle the recoil?

Net voor Mr Barnard hier inspring kan ek met vrymoedigheid se dat die Z3 nie n probleem met een van die twee kalibers se recoil sal he nie. Ek dink dit is n sinlike keuse op die 375 vir algemene jag en so ook as jy 416 vir die tipe jag inspan. Nie die eerste keuse vir gevaarlige wild nie. Die Z3 het nie van die langste eye relief nie so hou dit maar ingedagte. Probeer maar die teleskoop pas op jou geweer en kyk hoe is die eye relief op die maksimum vergroting. Kyk maar dat jy so minimum van 60mm speling het op die vergroting.

I have used a Z3 3-10x42 on my .375 for some years without any problems. Tried a Z6 for a couple of months on it but I am now using a 4-12x50 Z3 on my .375 again (the Z6's ocular is too bulky cannot mount the scope as low as I want to). The Z3 will stay on the H&H now, not gonna change again. rest assure Z3s can take the punch.
