So you're saying continue giving in to CFR's made up rules and ignore the FCA?

I'm seriously thinking about trying an application with only what the Act requires and a copy of this order.

Is dit so?

Ja.

Did that application go in and did the DFO have anything to say about the lack of motivation?

Anyone been brave enough to submit only the exact requirements as per the FCA and a copy of this court order and been successful?

In response to Ranger I may indicate that I submitted two applications since this court order was brought to my attention. In both instances I however did submit motivations, albeit cryptic ones. These were single page efforts that I wrote myself. One was for an additional handgun (9mm pistol) and the other for a second .22 rifle. I attached a printed copy of the court order and highlighted the area stating that no motivation was in fact required.
Both applications were successful, although I am still waiting for the 9mm's licence card.
Thus I wasn't brave enough to fully rely on that court order alone, but it does say to them that we know what they are doing and they may face legal ramifications if they should refuse the applications on flimsy grounds.
