Verduidelik die "wip". Waarop rus die voorlaai van die geweer?

As jy die 40 of so skiet dan voel jy die geweer skop nie of wip nie op nie maar as jy na 41.5 en 42 gaan dan maak hy so dis of hy optel.

My opmerkings na jou vele probeerslae -

OK.
Lets try and make sense of this mess.

There are two anomolies here.
1. Accuracy
2. The speeds you are achieving and your ES

Please answer these questions ?

1. These cartridges you loaded yesterday where with the Norma cases ?
2. How did you prepare them and did you trim the case lengths to spec?
3. Are you crimping the bullets or not ?
4. Did you change the scope for another one of known reliability ?
5. What scale are you using to weigh your charge ?
6. When you removed the barreled action from the stock and replaced it, how tight did you make your action screws ?
7. If you take a piece of paper and fold it and run it under the barrel how much clearance do you have between the barrel and the stock. How many times can you fold the paper before there is friction between the barrel and stock ?
8. While you checking the clearance between the barrel and stock did you feel the paper touch anywhere between the barrel and stock in other words a high spot on the stock ?
9. My recommendation was to load the Hornady 87 grain bullets at 67.0mm. What was your jump to the rifling at this TPL ?
10. How far in front of the muzzle was your chrony and is the battery in good condition ?
11. Are you 100% sure you do not rest the barrel on the shooting stand or place downward pressure on the barrel with your hand whilst shooting ?
12. Are your scope bases and rings suitably tight ?
13. Does your scope have a variable parallax setting or is it a fixed parallax ?

6. Die skroewe het ek van gedraai met n tool maar nie te vas nie ek het nie n torqrence nie
7. Ek kan n papier 3 vou en deur druk maar 2 gann beter daar is geen merke op die loop nie

All the indications are that your accuracy is related to too little clearance between the barrel and the stock.
My suggestion would be (before you start clearing out the barrel channel on the stock with a dremmel tool) is to first buy a box of factory ammo.
Shoot 5 rounds and see if they group ( 2 inches or less )
If the factory ammo is all over the place then take a 0.5mm washer and place it between the action and lugs on the stock (front and rear) and torque down the action screws to the manufacturers recommended torque. Shoot the same factory ammo and see if the grouping improves.
If this does not work take a 1.00mm washer and do the same. 5 rounds of factory ammo.

And secondly and I ask this with all due respect, how do you rate your shooting ability. Do you believe you are capable of shooting MOA groupings ?

No problem with the Afrikaans I am fairly fluent in Afrikaans but I can not type it to save my life.

I dont think that your twist is an issue here.
Most of the 243's are 1 in 10 twist and they shoot just fine.
It's only those really long target type bullets which need a slightly faster twist.

Dankie

Yip the grouping is clearly much better.

I would get the action bedded, the forend of the stock reinforced and clear out the barrel channel so that you have more clearance around the barrel.

Or just get another stock.

If you have enough threads on the action screws I would even use a 0.8mm spacer and see what your groups look like.

Bedding combined with more clearance around your barrel would be the way to go.
