RPR vs HCR. Kan beslis wees dat hulle wil kompeteer, veral in die Precision Rifle kompetisie reekse wat geweldig popular geraak het in die VSA. Ek stem net saam dat die .243 se loop twist Howa dalk gaan benadeel. Aan die ander kant skroef die Amerkianers baie maklik 'n ander loop op en problem is opgelos.

How so?

Ruger het vir $999-$1100 geretail in die US toe kos hy R33 000+ hier. Howa retail vir $1299 en die selfde agent bring hom in as ek dit nie mis het nie...

And the few people i have mailed in South Africa dont return my mails either.
Surely someone can make something like that here in this country... JAllen have stocks too but they R21 000.00. IM sure these could be made here too(theses are aluminium stocks).

Can you think of someone i could mail or contact?

Ok ive mailed Accugun, Smoking Guns and Bloemfontein Custom rifles. Lets see what i can come up with.
I know of about 5 people interested in something like this. So im sure there's a market

All the local guys dont have anything like that, and they says its pretty expensive and time consuming to custom make something. And they a little pricey. As much as i would like to support local...i just cant spend that type of money.

The guys from Archangel in the US got back to me and said they have new stocks being launched at the Shot Show in January. Their stocks were priced around $300 and will be a drop in system with aluminium bedding. Ive watched the videos...its 2 bolts that need to come out and your action and barrel slip right in.

This is the style they are improving on they say. It comes in Tan and Black. I mentioned they should add a Olive green to the mix
