Anti-hunters and the grossly uninformed: You see! How could you ever justify the senseless killing of precious innocent animals for pleasure when world wildlife is endangered and has declined by 2/3 in 50 years.
Hunters: We share your concern about the decrease in wildlife biodiversity across the world. It's important that we focus on the most important factors affecting this which, as stated in the WWF report, are loss of habitat (single biggest threat) aided by invasive species and pollution. There are also many examples and models of land use where game numbers and biodiversity have increased to their highest levels in many decades. The fundamental pillar of most, if not all of these models, is sustainable utilisation of resources with a strong emphasis on hunting. We should replicate this proven model as far, as wide, and as quickly as possible while tackling habitat loss, invasive species and pollution at the highest level in order to save the world's wildlife.
