Re: Pigeon magnet
Ok
we normally place the magnet 25 to 30m away on a land that has been newly stripped
wind into your face if possible , a good hide is important with the sun at your back also helps
on the ground line the decoys in a v shaped pattern facing the wind about a meter apart with one side of the v shorter than the other ( need about 15 or 20 )
in the head of the v place a few random decoys a sort of feeding patch
the magnet would then be 3 meters ahead of the point of the v or a little to the right or left
the birds normally land into the wind so they would be landing away from your hide
let a couple land as the rest of the flock will follow
shoot them either on the ground with a air rifle or .22 with a back up person with a shotgun for when they fly
they tend circle back even after you have shot at them
don`t shoot the decoys they don`t last long
this is my experience other may have better advice

Re: Pigeon magnet
Dankie!
Ek het meer as 'n kas uitgeskiet (seker so 350 rondtes) as ek moet
raai.
So paar fotos solank.
neem.
