Hi Lowtech,
inbox francois b. I know he uses them with very good results in his 30-06. I think he also struggled to develop a load

Hi Lowtech
Try to adjust the seating depth of your loads, it always works to improve groupings.

Hello
The charge that worked the best in my rifle was 47 gr S335. Very accurate load
Speed was 2900 ft sec.

I have no idea what you mean.
What does seating depth (If that's what you mean with "seat the head") have to do with head space?

Hi Geno
I'm sure you are correct
I'm new to this so please be patience if I get the wording wrong
I see that I need to
"Try to adjust the seating depth of your loads, it always works to improve groupings" as per Dawie
does this not mean seating the head a little deeper into the case ?
will this not in turn create a greater gap between the head and where it enters the barrel which I believe is quite critical
you may PM me with the answer if its quite involved
thank you for any help

Read this thread:

Once you have determined the max OAL, you can start about 0,2mm from the lands.
Then seat your bullets deeper in 0,2mm increments untill you have found the best group.
