Not to the best of my understanding. The wave is determined by the barrel length as this limits the length the wave has to travel back and forth. Be that as it may, the OBT theory is tried and tested. I just like to know the underlying reason, then I can work with that. My opinion stands that the distance of the jump is not the reason for the accuracy improvement. It is what the change in jump does to the pressure that matters.
