SG Pulse

Post by Ranger »

Looking for some feedback from users of the SG Pulse (not the PRO version). Is it worth it? How much clearance do I need between the bottom of my scope and the top of the Picatinny rail to be able to mount the SG?

Hi Ranger

I used the SG Pulse previously and now the SG Pulse Pro. Disclaimer, I also import and sell them: Winelands Precision.

I find it extremely worthwhile, saying that I am a competition shooter and find that the added features (above the level capability) actually makes it a magnificent tool.

I shot a few stages with the recording function, where it tracks the stability of the rifle when I break the shot, and the muzzle rise of the recoil.

Using this I clearly saw where I had bad fundamentals (muzzle rise towards sides) and where my positioning/rifle stability was poor when I break the shot.

I have also used it for some friends, who thought their fundamentals were good, and you clearly start to focus on the right stuff.

Above that the levelling is very clear and bright, and forces you to correct (I sometimes forgot with my conventional bubble level.

As for clearance, I run 34mm scopes on medium height rings, and have clearance to mount behind the scope or under the scope. Pics Attached
