Porsche only quotes the time for the Cayenne Turbo Electric, which does the same sprint in 2.5 seconds, and if you like, 0-200km/h in 7.4 seconds… silently.

Powering the electric motors is a 113kWh high-voltage battery pack good enough for an electric driving range of up to 642km for the Cayenne Electric and up to 623km for the Turbo.

According to the New York Times, the team is focusing on a new midsize pickup truck, but whether it will be battery electric or a plug-in hybrid is unclear.

What is known is that Field’s team is planning to use high-pressure castings for the front and rear sections, with the battery in the middle. Sharp-eyed readers may recognize this as pretty much what Tesla is planning with its “unboxed factory” initiative. Theoretically, there will be one or more electric passenger cars coming from the California “skunk works” as well.

Die honeymoon fase van EV is verby, state stop hulle subsidies vir EV(kunsmatige kruk waarop industrie gesteun het) en nou moet die kapitalistiese mark bepaal of EV n goeie besluit is. So raai wat, as jy moet kies tussen n kar met duurder aankoop prys, korter afstand per tenk, ongerief vir tenk volmaak, vir marginale brandstof koste besparing. Is die besluit maklik.

Die realiteit van Ford wat hulle elektriese F100 discontinue, is soos om agter te kom die loodgieter in die blou film is nie regtig n loodgieter nie...

Die EV wêreld is maar net voortdurend besig om al beter en beter te raak met hulle produkte - of dit nou vierwiel of tweewiel EV's is, hulle raak net al meer en meer die leiers in die vervoerbedryf.

Elektriese motorfietse neem deesdae die voortou - reik afstande van 600 km, veliger battery tegnologie en let gerus op na die moderne aandrywingswiel/(agterwiel) ontwikkeling.
This mechanism (hubless wheel) involves electromagnets on both sides of the wheel that repel when electricity is passed through the enclosure, similar to how a maglev train works.
It is already the first company to put a hubless wheel into production, and now, the solid-state battery initiative adds another feather to the cap.

Met die jongste aankondigings vanaf Volvo sal daar gedurende 2026 net mooi vier(4) EV's beskikbaar wees vir plaaslike motorkopers om van te kies.

Let veral op die afstande wat hierdie EV's kan aflê per lading asook korter laai tye per lading vermeld in die artikel:
EX30 Twin Motor Ultra has a 69kWh battery with a range of 460km.
EX60’s powertrain, stating that it will have a “best-in-class range of 810km on a single charge,” based on the WLTP standard.
The EX90 has a considerably larger 111kW power cell, but due to its size and weight, the SUV’s range is only extended to 616km.
The new ES90 sedan has a 92kW battery with a range of 650km, and can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 6.9 seconds.
As its name implies, the EX60 will be the brand’s new midsize electric SUV, slotting between the smaller EX30 crossover and the flagship EX90 SUV.
The EX60 is not the only product Volvo has lined up for our market in 2026, as it will also launch a new sedan called the ES90.
The ES90 is an upmarket electric sedan that will go on sale here in the mid-to-late first quarter, with pricing to be announced closer to the time.
