What is the most stupid thing you have heard of people doing when calling.

Last week I had a chap say that they did a day call, left a cd playing in the bakkie and sat on a koppie and watched - with no luck, and I wonder why.
The other one was a person asked to go out with me, at the end of the evening he said he was amazed at how little I called and how softly some calls were played. He said when he tried he played continuously and loud, and when the 1 sound finished, he just moved onto the next one.
I know some of you are shaking your heads, the worrying thing is, both these oaks are doing this in my area, with their mates.

Dec i went out calling on a friends farm and friend wanted to go out with me, everything went well and we shot 4 Jackal in the couple hours we went out. 3 weeks ago I phone him to ask how his doing with the Jackal and he informes me that his sure he only had 4 because since we went out he bought a caller from some place but he cant locate any Jackal....Yesterday I get n call to ask if i cant mail him some new calls.

Ons sit met die selfde probleem, maar tog is daar geleerde mense wat jakkalse so skelm maak hier, ek het my kursese gedoen en saam baie ervare jagters uit gegaan en volgens my mening is dit verkeerd wat van die ouens hier doen nie net die boer wat vir sy seun n roeper koop en se gaan try dit nie dit is mense wat jakkalse jag vir geld, hy speel n jakkals roep as niks hom antwoord nie skuif hy na die volgende plek hy staan skaars 15 min op n staan plek, dis skaars 4 uure dan het hy 10 staan plekker geroep en tog bly die boere hom aanstel om die werk te doen, nou n jakkals van mei-jul antwoord nie sommer nie jy sal baie gelukig wees as hy doen so ek kan nie sien dat hy baie sukses kan behaal nie ,hy skiet meer jakkalse in die ry as wat hy hulle eintlik inroep volgens my skiet net van die jonges dood en maak die skelm jakkalse net skelmer? julle mening?
