ECGMA & PERPC BIG BORE SHOOT

Good day all

Our very next Big Bore shoot is planned for the 20th of October. The
Big Bore shoot will start
at 9h00 until roughly 13h00. The shoot consists of four shooting
layouts. These are in the
form of moving targets, fixed targets as well as steel falling plates.
Each layout is designed in
such a way as to allow the participant to practice his/her shooting
ability when they are out of
their comfort zone and to test the hunters speed and accuracy of his/her shots.
Calibres that may be used for the shoot are from 9.3mm and upwards
with any type of bullet
head (softs/solids). If you do not own a big bore rifle you may still
partake in the shoot with
your normal rifle, but please note that you will not qualify for the
end of year trophy. 13
Shots will be required per round and a charge of R50 is payable at the
range gate. Note: Your
R50 enables you to go through the course as many times as you like.
Remember to bring
something for the coals and your own drinks for the braai that will be
held afterwards.

SAFETY REGULATIONS:
Please enter the range at the gate, (R50 p/p) with your clean unloaded
firearms in a gun bag
or case.

Move to shooting point with firearm still in bag when it is your turn to shoot.

Listen to the commands of the range officer, and only load when
instructed to do so.

After rifles are declared safe, return it to the bag and exit the
shooting point.

No persons are allowed to move over the barrier tape onto the shooting
point unless it is your
turn to shoot.

Map to the Port Elizabeth Rifle and Pistol Club (PERPC) Range off
Mission Road will follow tomorrow.
