Hello Gents

Can anyone provide me with some accurate reloading data they have with reference to Reloder 17 powder in any of the suitable cartridges.
6.5 Creed, 7x57, 30-06 etc
Just want to see how it is performing relative to default data.
Thank you.

Hi Dale.

You followed the 9.3x62mm thread with Hennie Oelofse and Rel17 while ago, maybe he has some new data.

Beste.

Yes I saw that one and was impressed.
I would like to accumulate some other actual data in a couple of different cartridges.

I have some test rounds loaded for my 7x57 with TTSX 150 grain and 30-06 loaded with 175 grain RDF but I need to find time to get to the range.

So I have to assume that not many on the forum are using Reloder 17 yet.
I cam across this video on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_HeFgF5BrM and decided to reverse calculate this data for Reloder 17 and 26
Based on Hornady 140 grain BTHP match
22 inch barrel
Velocities as stated in the picture
Average H20 volume of 52.5 grains H20
COL/TPL O of 2.800 inches
reloder 17,26 6.5 Creed.jpg
In all his loads across the spectrum ( Reloder 17 and 26) the QL prediction using default burn rates was not more than 10 fps off his actual results :):
and none of them where over pressure

Looks like this propellant is an absolute winner in the 6.5 Creed.
Now to find some time to test Reloder 17 in the 7x57 and 30-06
