Lynx LX3 2.5-15x50 RF Tactical to swop

Hi all,

I am looking to replace this scope with something similar but with normal capped turrets, and I would first like to see if anyone would like to exchange it for a suitable scope? I am very happy with the scope clarity and performance but I only hunt with it and never use the turrets. I think that the exposed turrets are just something I could accidentally adjust while carrying the rifle, so in the interest of simplicity I would like to change the scope.

I am looking at any similar value, condition and capability scope, perhaps the same lynx but with normal turret caps or even the 3-12x56. Illuminated reticle not important. At least a 50mm objective is essential. I want the scope for jackal and springbuck hunting.

The scope currently sits in Low Warne rings and bases on a bull barrel Howa with an ideal amount of space between the objective and the barrel.

If interested I can take some more detailed photographs.

Thanks,

Matt, can you not only change your open turrets to closed capped turrets? It certainly is available on some telescopes, I don’t know about Lynx. Find out, just maybe or even universal type.

Thanks man - that’s a good suggestion and I did think about it but never looked into it with Lynx. I have found someone who is keen to do a fair swap so I think my problem is sorted!

Thanks again,

Matt

I use raised turrets with high caps on a Nikon scope, certainly allows for no accidental adjustment when closed whilst hunting and taking out of the bag.

Glad you sorted.
