Gate op K98 aksie skeef geboor.

More almal,
My vriend het 'n 300H&H met n K98 aksie, hy wil ook 2 stuk piccatiny opsit, maar ons het gisteraand gesien die agterste 2 gate lyn nie mooi op met die voorste gate nie. Is daar 'n manier dat n geweersmid dit kan toe sweis en weer oor doen?

Dink dit gaan beter wees om die picatinny aan te pas as om verder aan die aksie te spook.

die gate kan toegesweis word en oor geboor word. Of n custom picatinny kan gebou word. kostes gaan omtrend die selfde wees.
hoe skeef is die gate kan n ou nie net grooter skroewe insit en die gate reguit kry.

Mkonto Manufacturing can Tig weld the holes closed and redrill and tap the action for you. Once the holes are correct it is a simple procedure to fit a one piece 20MOA base to it ...or a 2pc base set if you prefer that.

Dankie vir almal se terug voer. Ons maar die roete gegaan wat Mkontogunsmith voorgestel het. Dankie vir al die terug voering en advies.
P.S Ek het al van Mkontogunsmith se dienste gebruik gemaak, hul my geweer loop groef gesny vir knaldemper, goeie werk en vinnig, geweer die oggend ingevat, 3ure later sms gekry dat geweer reg is vir optel. Goeie werk gedoen.

Good day
Is there anybody in the Western Cape that can do the same repair work? (Welding the previously drilled holes closed and then redo the (currently poor) Drill and tap work)
The other day I noticed a gap on the rear base mount. Upon inspection and taking the scope out the rings, I noticed a dent in the scope tube due to the rings not being properly aligned.
