Help me choose a scope

I am looking for a scope for my 243, minimum 4-12x40/42/44/50 and my budget is around R6000. I am lost as to which way to go.

Have a look at Meopta scopes they have good quality scopes! And they will fit in your budget aswell...

I like vortex! The 4-12x40 goes for about 3.5k. I would defenitly go for that. As the vortex has great value for money and garantee.

To help you better what distance will you be shooting?

If you can find a Burris in that pricerange dont overlook it.

Thanks guys, I don't think I'll be hunting much over 200 or so and will attempt to shoot gongs out to 440m.

I'll also look at 14x - 18x scopes as well.

I have a 4-12x40 Vortex Diamondback on my 30.06 and while I'd be happy with another one, thought I'd look at a few different scopes this time.

You can also look at Nikon. I have a 6 to 24 on my 243 with fire dot...very happy..might be a litle over you budget...Vortex definatley worth looking at...i love my viper HST...

Burris 4.5-14x42 R4500 or Burris 6.5-20x50 For R6300.

Thanks guys, I'm collecting my Meopta Meopro on Thursday. I spent a little more that I planned but am very happy with my choice.
