Main Story – Gauteng MOU
The Gauteng Legislature’s Safety & Security Committee has already signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Gun Free South Africa (GFSA). Some of the committee members pushed back and insisted that the firearms community must also be consulted. That’s exactly why this meeting happened. This is yet another back-door move – right in line with what we’re seeing at Nedlac – where government is trying to ram through the terrible proposed amendments to the Firearms Control Act. It is absolutely critical that strong organisations like GOSA and GOSA Girls on Fire keep standing up for our rights as law-abiding firearm owners in South Africa.
