ive seen cmj and fmj bullets stop in bodys and also seen hp pass though . ive then also seen fmj pass though and hp stop in bodys .
its what the bullet hits that counts too make it stop in the body or to stop the attack nothing else .
i ll put my faith in my own ammo rather than nicely marketed ammo .
just on the pass though shots does anyone know of a incident in which a bystander was shot from a pass though shot ?
just my 2c

Bobby are you a medical examiner or coroner? How many GSW bodies have you seen? 7/8 people survive GSW's with handguns, where are you getting the (dead) boddies?bobby wrote:ive seen cmj and fmj bullets stop in bodys and also seen hp pass though . ive then also seen fmj pass though and hp stop in bodys .

plaashaas , no i was in the townships and a r/cop in the 90's when ever there was a shooting i'd race there . i'd always check to wounds and look at the ammo , not scientific but good enough .
or i used to go sit in the detective offices with one or two of the guys i knew back then and go though the dockets .
yes bullets have changed since then but i'm still not sold on the buy million rand bullets . id use them yes but then id use my own reloads aswell and trust them more too.

In the townships. Ja and were they using Rangers perhaps so that you could make the comparison? Bobby you perhaps had to be present during each post mortem conducted on the bodies to make such deduction. To physically stand on a crime scene and look at the appearance of bullet wounds is just as well you look at a kudu being shot without been present during the skinning process to observe wound channel and tissue damage. I cannot recall one instance where we recovered handguns from criminals in the townships where they carried expensive SD ammo. SAPS/Military fmj 9mm ammo yes. Plenty.bobby wrote:plaashaas , no i was in the townships and a r/cop in the 90's when ever there was a shooting i'd race there . i'd always check to wounds and look at the ammo , not scientific but good enough .
